Todd Taylor Fastest Banjo

This is Florida Today footage of the Guinness Event - World’s Fastest Banjo Player Todd Taylor.

Todd “Banjoman” Taylor of Palm Bay, Florida established a Guinness World Record for fastest banjo playing on January, 31, At 2:00 PM 2007, as confirmed by Guinness. He played "Feudin’ Banjos" – the Arthur Smith song known as “Dueling Banjos” from the popular 1972 film Deliverance – at 210 beats per minute.

Guinness assigned him "Dueling Banjos," even though it's normally played by two people. "It's a feat in itself to play both parts," Taylor said. He was playing so fast, he might have been able to play parts for three. He said he had to Super-Glue the picks to his fingers so they wouldn't fly off.
